Ecology
The symbiosis of the oldest cultivated plant of mankind (hemp) with one of the oldest and most proven building materials (natural lime) results in the building material of the future.
No additional insulation, only two materials in the entire wall construction, promoting healthy indoor air, no waste, completely recyclable as a building material. A recycling economy that is second to none!

Processing
Hemp bricks are not only very easy to work with when cutting and milling. The lightweight stones can be easily erected as partition walls, insulating exterior walls, interior insulation and acoustic walls. Hemp-limestone is always installed in a wooden or concrete skeleton. Hemp bricks are light, very good insulating bricks and do not bear loads.
Simply lay the hemp stone with the appropriate thin-bed mortar. To maintain diffusion openness, the base and finishing plaster must be breathable.

Building physics
Hemp-lime bricks are the best thing you can do to your house in terms of building physics:
They are fireproof and vermin-resistant, stable for centuries and energy-efficient, sound-absorbing and open to diffusion.
Masonry walls made of hemp bricks do not require an additional insulation layer. They provide cosy warmth in winter and pleasant coolness in summer.
Production
For the production of hemp limestones, hemp hurds, the woody stalks of the hemp plant, lime and water are mixed and pressed in a cold air process and then dried.
