Energy saving made to measure
One of the great advantages of a Hempro house is its extremely low energy consumption. Depending on the thickness of the hemp walls, you can build houses with low, very low or even passive energy consumption. The standard Hempro wall has a thickness of 30 or 36 cm. It is possible to further increase the energy efficiency of the building by adding a second row of hemp bricks with a thickness of 7, 9, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 36 cm. In addition, a single-family house built with the Hempro construction system binds about 5 tonnes of CO2.
Hemp stone 30 cm
The 30 cm brick is particularly suitable for new low-energy houses. This insulating brick can be combined with all building systems and offers maximum compatibility with the Hempro system.
The highly efficient thermal phase shift of this stone is more than 19 hours and ensures an optimal temperature in summer and winter, while regulating the humidity in your home. The stone also dampens acoustic waves and eliminates noise pollution.
Like Hempstone 36, it can be used in existing constructions as modern interior or exterior insulation.
It offers very sustainable insulation and corresponding performance, a very large thermal phase shift (> 19h), comfort whether in summer or winter and vapour diffusion openness.
This hemp stone is used in particular for interior insulation, exterior insulation, new construction and for floors and roofs.
Hemp stone 36 cm
The 36 cm brick is the reference brick for new buildings with very high insulation performance and very low energy consumption.
In combination with a load-bearing construction (Hempro system, timber frame constructions, etc.), it can be used to construct the entire building envelope.
The stone is well insulating (thermal phase shift >23h) and ensure optimal comfort, both through its thermal and acoustic properties and its moisture-regulating properties.
In summary, it offers a very large thermal phase shift (>23h), comfort in summer as well as in winter, vapour diffusion openness and an excellent substrate for plasters.
This hemp stone is also used in particular for interior and exterior insulation, for new construction and for floors and roofs.
Hempro Stone P
This is a pre-drilled stone of 30 cm or 36 cm and it is mainly used for new buildings.
With these stones, a supporting structure (Hempro system) can be created to build the entire shell of your house from hemp stones.
This stone has a vertical rectangular recess for making a reinforced concrete column. The pre-drilled stone serves as formwork for the concrete support and provides its insulation.
This system allows for optimal homogeneity, minimises thermal bridges and regulates humidity. They can be combined with U-shaped bricks to form beams.
Therefore, they bring the advantages of a monolithic wall, a cost-effective solution, comfort in summer as well as in winter and vapour diffusion openness.
Hempro Stone U
The U stone of 30 cm or 36 cm is a hemp stone used for new buildings. A load-bearing structure can be created with these stones.
This stone has a horizontal recess for the construction of a reinforced concrete beam. It serves as formwork and enables the concreting of beams on which the ceiling and roof are placed.
In combination with pre-drilled bricks, you can use the U-shaped brick to build a complete envelope of hemp bricks, which reduces thermal bridges and gives your building a homogeneous thermal performance over the entire envelope, while ensuring good moisture regulation over the entire surface.
